On Wednesdays, test your knowledge at Trivia Night with Pour House Trivia from 7 PM to 9 PM. It’s free to play, and teams can consist of up to 7 people—bring your friends and show off your trivia skills!
Additionally, we host Open Mic Night on the first and third Thursday from 7 PM to 10 PM, welcoming all talents to share their music and creativity.
And don’t forget, we feature live music from Thursday through Saturday, showcasing a variety of genres to keep the good vibes flowing.

Join us at Thick-n-Thin Brewery in Hagerstown, MD for a festive workshop of spooky fun and pretty lettering for beginners! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! Additionally, we will be lettering on faux pumpkins at the end of our class time!

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the class, too! Outside food allowed). Class will start promptly at 12:00 PM!
Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style! If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
A note on bringing guests 21 and under: While we love to share this passion with kids, VENUE is a 21+ establishment. Please take a look at our other classes at all-ages venues!
